Critical Literacy Resources

The following materials labeled "problematic" are intended to be used for research and educational purposes. Problematic texts are meant to be critically analyzed alongside their "alternative texts." Highlighting these materials is in no way an endorsement of classroom use. Parents are encouraged to use caution if their children are interested in reading these materials as they may reinforce problematic depictions of race, class, gender, or disabilities.
